| Abstrak | Penelitian ini membahas krisis ekonomi Amerika Serikat yang terjadi pada tahun 2008. Krisis ini disebabkan oleh macetnya kredit kepemilikan rumah skala kecil (Subprime Mortgage). Krisis Subprime Mortgage ini telah menghancurkan perekonomian Amerika Serika, yang pada akhirnya krisis ekonomi ini memberikan dampak yang mengglobal terhadap perekonomian negara-negara lain di dunia. Salah satu kawasan yang terkena dampak dari krisis ini adalah Asia Tenggara. Beberapa negara-negara di kawasan Asia Tenggara mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi yang negatif. Dampak yang dialami oleh Asia Tenggara menjadi ancaman terhadap hegemoni Amerika Serikat di Asia Tenggara, karena Amerika Serikat memiliki kepentingan di Asia Tenggara. Dengan itu, Amerika Serikat harus membangun Strategi untuk mempertahankan hegemoninya di Asia Tenggara. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | This research analyzes the United States attempts to maintain a position of political economy in Southeast Asia after the 2008 economic crisis. In line with the increasing integration of economies in the middle globalization era, the financial crisis that occurred in a country can easily spread to other countries and become a global financial disaster in a short period. Currently, the global crisis has cause some major countries experiencing major crises it also has no exception to the superpower United States today. And it is increasingly demonstrating the existence of the United States began replaced as a superpower or the ruler of the world. In addition, the emergence of China as a new force and the impact of the economic crisis the United States in 2008 that has been felt by Southeast Asia has affected the economic position of the decline in US politics in Southeast Asia. There are several reasons why the United States should strive to maintain the position of political economy in Southeast Asia, including the reasons related to economic interests and political interests.
