| Abstrak | Penelitian ini berjudul “Upaya Amerika Serikat dalam Menghadapi Anti-Access/Area Denial Strategy China Melalui Penerapan Air-Sea Battle Concept”. Penelitian ini bertuan untuk mencari tahu apa saja ancaman Access/Area Denial Strategy China terhadap militer Amerika Serikat dan bagaimana Amerika Serikat Menghadapinya melalui penerapan Air-Sea Battle Concept. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah China telah mampu mengembangkan kemampuan Anti-Access/Area Denial sampai kepada tingkatan yang mengancam pergerakan militer Amerika Serikat di Asia Pasifik. Kemampuan China dalam mengembangkan Anti-Access/Area Denial ini didukung oleh kebangkitan ekonomi China dan modernisasi militer mereka. Tingkat ancaman yang dimiliki China cukup besar jika diukur dari aggrregate power yang terdiri dari ekonomi, populasi, teknologi, dll, dan offensive power yang merupakan kemampuan ofensif suatu negara. Adapun upaya Amerika Serikat dalam menghadapi ancaman ini adalah dengan melakukan internal balancing dan penerapan Air-Sea Battle Concept yang efektif dalam skenario konflik dengan China. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | This research titled "The Efforts of The United States to Encounter The China’s Anti-Access/Area Denial Strategy Through The Implementation of Air-Sea Battle Concept". This research aims to find out what are the threats that China‘s Access/Area Denial Strategy possess against the US military and how the United States encounter it with the implementation of Air-Sea Battle Concept. The method that used in this research is a qualitative study using data collection techniques literature study. The results of this study are China was able to develop the ability of Anti-Access/Area Denial to the level that threatens US military movements in Asia Pacific. The ability of China in developing the Anti-Access/Area Denial is supported by the economic rise of China and its military modernization. The threats level that possess by China is quite high when it measured from aggrregate power that consisting of the economy, population, technology, etc., and the offensive power that is offensive abilities of a country. The efforts of the United States in the face of this threat is to do with internal balancing and the effective application of the Air-Sea Battle Concept in conflict scenarios with China. |
