| Judul Artikel | Investigating The Financial Policies of Private Sector Healthcare: Do They Stand For Society? |
| Abstrak | Banyak dari negara berkembang dan miskin memiliki masalah layanan kesehatan, termasuk Indonesia, terbatasnya anggaran nasional untuk dialokasikan oleh pemerintah untuk memfasilitasi masyarakat dan mahalnya layanan kesehatan yang ditawarkan rumah sakit - rumah sakit swasta adalah permasalahan yang umumnya terjadi. Harga yang tinggi dari layanan kesehatan swasta diduga disebabkan karena kebijakan keuangan perusahaan dalam menentukan standar performa keuangan mereka; seperti profitabilitas, efisiensi asset, dan efisiensi modal kerja. Situasi pasar dapat juga menjadi hal yang mempengaruhi perusahaan dalam menentukan standar nya. Studi ini menginvestigasi kebijakan dan performa keuangan rumah sakit dengan proxi empat indikator yang kuat; profitabilitas, struktur modal, efisiensi modal kerja, dan efisiensi asset tetap; dengan ekstensi analisis kompetisi. Melalui studi observasi, komparatif, dan korelasi menggunakan amalisis longitudinal, tes t-independen dan koefisien Pearson, penelitian ini dilakukan pada empat perusahaan operator rumah sakit terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Kemudian, hasil analisis tersebut dibandingkan dengan performa perusahaan operator rumah sakit dari negara-negara ASEAN yang terdaftar di bursa efek domestik nya, dan perusahaan-perusahaan LQ45. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Mostly, the developing and poor countries have the healthcare problem, include Indonesia, limited national budget to be allocated by government to facilitate society and costly healthcare provided by private hospitals are the most common problem. High price of private healthcare services is presumed to be caused by financial policy of firms in defining their financial performance standards; such as the profitability, asset efficiency, and working capital efficiency. The market situation can be also the causes of how the firms define the standards. This research investigates the financial performances and policy of hospitals proxied by four robust indicators; profitability, capital structure, working capital efficiency, and fixed asset efficiency; with the extent to competition analysis. By the observational, comparative, correlation studies using longitudinal analysis, t-independent and Pearson coefficient test, respectively; the research is conducted on four hospital operator companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Thus, the results are compared both to the performances of some selected stock exchange-listed hospital operator companies from ASEAN countries, and LQ45 companies. |
