| Abstrak | Keberadaan musik rock Indonesia menjadi menurun popularitasnya pada saat ini, namun di Kota Purwokerto, terdapat komunitas penggemar musik rock bernama “Banyumas Rock Community” yang menjadi wadah bagi musisi dan penggemar musik beraliran rock se-Kabupaten Banyumas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui eksistensi komunitas musik rock “Banyumas Rock Community” dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh komunitas dalam menjaga eksistensinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menurunnya eksistensi komunitas “Banyumas Rock Community” tidak bisa lepas dari trend musik rock di Purwokerto yang menurun. Berkurangnya peminat musik rock saat ini disebabkan karena masyarakat masih beranggapan bahwa musik rock sangat bising dan atribut yang dipakai oleh musisinya identik dengan satanisme. Sementara terkait eksistensi komunitasnya, “Banyumas Rock Community” masih mengalami permasalahan regenerasi kepengurusan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh tidak adanya ikatan dan motivasi dari anggota dan pengurusnya untuk berkumpul. Sementara para anggotanya pun nyaris vakum mengadakan kegiatan musik. Upaya komunitas “Banyumas Rock Community” agar komunitas ini tetap eksis adalah restrukturisasi kepengurusan lama, berkolaborasi dengan komunitas lain seperti Slanker, Metalhead dalam penyelenggaran acara musik, serta aktif terlibat dalam event musik di luar komunitas seperti acara Pojok Akustik. Komunitas “Banyumas Rock Community” juga terus aktif dalam jaringan sosial media seperti facebook dan whatsapp. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | The existence of Indonesian rock music is declining in popularity at this time, but in Purwokerto City, there is a rock music enthusiast community called "Banyumas Rock Community" which is a place for musicians and fans of rock music throughout Banyumas Regency. Therefore, this study aims to find out the existence of rock music community "Banyumas Rock Community" and efforts made by the community in maintaining its existence. The results showed that the declining existence of community "Banyumas Rock Community" can not be separated from the trend of rock music in Purwokerto is declining. The decrease in rock music enthusiasts today is caused because people still think that rock music is very noisy and the attributes used by musicians are synonymous with Satanism. While related to the existence of the community, "Banyumas Rock Community" is still experiencing regeneration problems stewardship. This is due to the lack of ties and motivations of members and administrators to gather. While the members were almost vacuum organized music activities. The community effort "Banyumas Rock Community" for this community to exist is the restructuring of the old stewardship, collaborating with other communities such as Slanker, Metalhead in organizing music events, and actively engaging in music events outside the community such as the Acoustic Corner show. The community "Banyumas Rock Community" also continues to be active in social media networks such as facebook and whatsapp. |
