| Judul Artikel | KEBERHASILAN SAMBUNGAN PADA TANAMAN JAMBU BIJI (Psidium guajava L.) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BEBERAPA VARIETAS ENTRES DAN TEKNIK SAMBUNG |
| Abstrak | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) persentase tingkat keberhasilan sambungan pada tanaman jambu biji; 2) teknik sambung yang memberikan pengaruh pada pertumbuhan tanaman jambu biji hasil sambungan; 3) varietas jambu biji yang memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan terbaik; 4) interaksi antara teknik sambungan dengan varietas entres. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan desa Banjarsari Kulon, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas selama 4 bulan dimulai dari bulan April 2017 sampai Juli 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan dua faktor yang terdiri dari teknik sambung (3) dan varietas entres (4) sehingga terdapat 12 perlakuan, percobaan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Variabel yang diamati yaitu: pertambahan tinggi tanaman, pertambahan panjang entres, diameter batang pada sambungan, jumlah daun, jumlah tunas, persentase sambungan hidup, persentase sambungan dorman dan persentase sambungan mati. Data pengamatan dianalisis dengan uji F dan uji lanjut dengan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase keberhasilan sambungan tertinggi dengan menggunakan teknik sambung cemeti yaitu sebesar 79,16% dan persentase keberhasilan tertinggi dengan menggunakan entres jambu biji kristal merah sebesar 69,44%. Teknik sambung cemeti memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap jumlah daun yaitu pada teknik sambung cemeti sebesar 8,86 helai daun. Terdapat kombinasi antara teknik sambung celah dengan entres varietas kristal putih yaitu pada diameter sambungan. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | The research aimed to determine the: 1) the percentage of grafting succes in the guava plants; 2) grafting techniques that give the best effect on the growth of guava plants; 3) varieties guava plants that give the best effect; 4) the interaction between the grafting techniques and varieties of entres. This research was conducted in experimental farm of Banjarsari Kulon village, Sumbang district, Banyumas regency for 4 months, starting from April 2017 to July 2017. This research used a randomized block design with twh groups of factors that comprise the grafting technique and varietas of entres so there 12 treatment combinations and the experiment repeated 3 times. The observed variables were: plant height increase, shoots length increase, diameter of the conncetion, number of leaves,number of shoots, alive grafting percentage, and dormant grafting percentage and grafting dead. Data were analyzed with the F test and continued test with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% error level. The results showed that the highest percentage of grafting success that is using the grafting technique tilting of 79,16% and the highest percentage of succes using the red crystal guava entres of 69,44%. The grafting technique tilting significanly influenced on the highest number of leaves was 8,86. There was combinations between the grafting technique and varieties of guava crystal on the diameter of the connection. |
