| Abstrak | Penanggulan penyakit demam beerdarah saat ini masih dengan cara memutus rantai penularan nyamuk Aedes aegypti menggunakan insektisida sintetis atau abate. Pemberian abate mempunyai kekurangan yaitu pencemaran lingkungan dan bisa mengakibatkan resistensi. Sehingga diperlukan insektisida alami yang salah satunya terbuat dari daun rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.). Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak etanol daun rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan larva Aedes aegypti. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental post test only with control group design, dengan menggunakan 5 kelompok, yaitu kelompok ekstrak etanol daun rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) 0,15%, 0,3%, 0,6%, kelompok kontrol postif atau abate 0,01%, dan kelompok kontrol negative, dengan 5 kali pengulangan kontainer berisi 25 ekor larva Aedes aegypti instar III/IV. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara kematian larva oleh ekstrak etanol daun rambutan 0,15%, 0,3%, 0,6% dengan kelompok kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif karena p<0,05. Hasil pegamatan didapatkan kematian larva ekstrak etanol daun rambutan konsentrasi 0,15% sebesar 0,8%, konsentrasi 0,3% sebesar 16,8% pada 1 jam kedua, sedangkan konsentrasi 0,6% sebesar 13,6% pada 1 jam pertama. Dengan simpang baku antar kelompok secara berurutan 0,15%, 0,3%, dan 0,6% yaitu 6,20, 18,40, dan 24,40. Daun rambutan efektif menghambat pertumbuhan larva Aedes aegypti instar III/IV isolat Banjarnegara. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Prevention of hemorrhagic dengue fever currently still by breaking the chain of Aedes aegypti that using synthetic insecticides or abate. Giving abate has a deficiency of environmental pollution and can lead to resistance. Thus the need for alternative natural larvicidal one of which is rambutan’s leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.). The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of ethanol extract of rambutan’s leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.) to inhibiting the growth of Aedes aegypti larvae. The method was an experimental post test only with control group design, used 5 groups, that was group of ethanol extract of rambutan’s leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.) 0,15%, 0,3%, 0,6%, positive control group or abate 0,01%, and negative control group, with 5 container repetitions contained 25 Aedes aegypti larvae III / IV larvae. There was a significant difference between larva mortality by 0.15%, 0.3%, 0.6% of ethanol extract of rambutan’s leaf with positive control group and negative control that because p <0.05. The result of the observation was found death of ethanol extract of rambutan’s leaf concentration 0,15% equal 0,8%, concentration 0,3% equal 16,8% at 1 hour the second, while concentration 0,6% equal 13.6% in the first hour. With standard deviation intergroups of 0.15%, 0.3%, and 0.6% respectively are 6.20, 18.40, and 24.40. Rambutan’s leaf effectively inhibit the growth of larvae of Aedes aegypti instar III / IV Banjarnegara isolate. |
