Judul ArtikelAPLIKASI METABOLIT SEKUNDER GABUNGAN TIGA ISOLAT Pseudomonas fluorescens DAN DUA ISOLAT Trichoderma harzianum TERHADAP PENYAKIT ANTRAKNOSA DAUN KAKAO
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keefektifan metabolit sekunder gabungan tiga isolat P. fluorescense (isolat P60, P8, dan P20), dengan dua isolat T. harzianum (isolat bawang merah dan jahe) terhadap penyakit antraknosa daun kakao dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kakao. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dan perkebunan kakao rakyat, Dusun Gemawang, Desa Putat, Kecamatan Patuk, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, mulai Desember 2016 sampai Februari 2017. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok non faktorial dengan 4 ulangan dan 7 perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol, aplikasi metabolit sekunder gabungan T. harzianum bawang merah +P. fluorescens P8, T. harzianum bawang merah+P. fluorescens P20, T. harzianum bawang merah+P. fluorescens P60, T. harzianum jahe+ P. fluorescens P8, T. harzianum jahe+ P. fluorescens P20, dan T. harzianum jahe+ P. fluorescens P60. Variabel yang diamati meliputi intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, jumlah tunas sehat, dan kandungan senyawa fenol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan gabungan metabolit sekunder T. harzianum dan P. fluorescens mampu mengimbas ketahanan melalui pengingkatan jumlah senyawa fenol dengan tingkat penekanan sebesar 19,577–37,51%. Perlakuan gabungan metabolit sekunder T. harzianum isolat jahe + P. fluorescens P60 memberikan pengaruh yang paling baik dengan penekanan penyakit 37,51% dibandingkan kontrol dan mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tunas daun sehat sebesar 22,58–42,92%.
Abstrak (Inggris)This research aimed to study the effectiveness of secondary metabolites combination derived from three Pseudomonas fluorescens isolates (P8, P20, and P60) and two Trichoderma harzianum isolates (shallot and ginger) toward cocoa leaves anthracnose, and their influence on the growth of cocoa plants. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, of Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto and the famers cocoa plantations at Gemawang hamlet, Putat Village, Patuk Sub-District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta from December 2016 up to February 2017. Randomized block design was used with four replicates and seven treatments consisted of control, application of secondary metabolites combination between T. harzianum shallot+P. fluorescen P8, T. harzianum shallot+P. fluorescen P20, T. harzianum onion+P. fluorescen P60, T. harzianum ginger+P. fluorescen P8, T. harzianum ginger+P. fluorescen P20 and T. harzianum ginger+P. fluorescen P60. Variable observed were the disease intensity, the infection rate, the number of healthy shoots, and phenolic compound. Result of the research showed that application of secondary metabolites combination between T. harzianum and P. fluorescens was able to increase plants resistance by increasing the phenolic compound with the suppression level between 19.577–37.51%. Application of secondary metabolites combination between T. harzianum ginger+P. fluorescen P60 isolates gave the best effect by suppression of the disease intensity as 37.51% compared to control and could influence the number of healthy shoots as 22.58–42.92%.
