| Abstrak | Latar belakang: Kesulitan yang dialami selama skripsi membuat mahasiswa mencari cara untuk menanganinya, seperti dengan menggunakan koping yang berfokus pada emosi. Penggunaan koping tersebut dalam menangani kesulitan, diduga dipengaruhi oleh adanya efikasi diri. Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dengan emotional focused coping (EFC) dalam proses penyusunan skripsi mahasiswa Jurusan Keperawatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Metodologi: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan besar sampel adalah 67 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner General Self efficacy (GSE) dan EFC dari Ways Coping Quetionnaire (WCQ). Analisis data bivariat menggunakan Spearman. Hasil Penelitian: Karakteristik responden menunjukan median usianya yaitu 21 tahun. Sebagian besar responden adalah perempuan, bertempat tinggal di kos dan berada pada tahap selesai skripsi. Nilai median pada variabel efikasi diri yaitu 28 (rentang skor 10-40) dan EFC yaitu 110 (rentang skor 0-144). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman menunjukan p value 0,187 dan r value 0,163. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan antara efikasi diri dan EFC dalam proses penyusunan skripsi mahasiswa Jurusan Keperawatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Background: The difficulties that experienced during the research paper make students looked for the ways to handle it, such as by using coping that focused on their emotion. The use of coping to handle the difficulties, may influenced by the existence of self efficacy. Objective: The aim of this study was to know the correlation of self efficacy with emotional focused coping (EFC) in the process of preparing research paper of nursing student in Jenderal Soedirman University. Methodology: This study was a quantitative study with cross sectional approach. Sampling of this study used total sampling with the samples of 67 respondents who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Instrument of this study used of General Self efficacy (GSE) dan EFC from Ways of Coping Quetionnaire (WCQ). Analysis of bivariate data used Spearman test. Result: The characteristics of respondents showed the median age was 21 years. Most of the respondents was women, living in boarding house and was in the final stage of the research paper. The median values of self efficacy was 28 (range score 10-40) and EFC was 110 (range score 0-144). Result of the Spearman correlation test showed that p value 0.187 and r value 0.163. Conclusion: There was no evidence correlation between self efficacy with emotional focused coping in the process of preparing research paper of nursing students in Jenderal Soedirman University. |
