AbstrakCekungan Jawa Barat Utara merupakan salah satu cekungan penghasil minyak bumi yang potensial di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan di Lapangan Velo pada Formasi Baturaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui geometri reservoir, distribusi karakteristik fisik reservoir meliputi porositas, permeabilitas, dan saturasi, serta jumlah cadangan hidrokarbon. Metodologi penelitian yaitu melakukan interpretasi litologi, korelasi stratigrafi, analisis petrofisika seperti porositas, saturasi air dan permeabilitas. Selanjutnya pemetaan karakteristik reservoir dan pemetaan ketebalan dari tiap unit reservoir, sehingga didapatkan peta net pay untuk menghitung cadangan hidrokarbon. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa reservoir daerah penelitian tersusun oleh batugamping. Reservoir ini memiliki nilai porositas antara 2,05 – 10,52 %, saturasi air (Sw) adalah 79,09%, dan permeabilitas rata-rata 1,48 mD. Berdasarkan analisis daerah penelitian diperkirakan diendapkan pada lingkungan laut dangkal (inner neritic sampai shallow middle neritic). Cadangan minyak bumi pada daerah penelitian (Original Oil In Place) berkisar 29.457.519,35 STB dan perkiraan jumlah cadangan terambil (Recoverable Reserve) adalah 5.302.353,49 STB.
Abstrak (Inggris)The North West Java Basin is one of the potential hydrocarbon reservoir in Indonesia. The study was conducted on Velo field with the main study focusing in Baturaja Formation. The purpose of this study was to determine the geometry of the reservoir, the distribution of the physical characteristics of the reservoir include porosity, permeability, saturation, and hydrocarbon reserve. The methodology of this research is to determine lithology, stratigraphic correlation, petrophysical analysis such as porosity, water saturation and permeability. Furthermore, reservoir characterization map and isopach map of each reservoir unit, net pay map used to calculate hydrocarbon reserves. The results of this study concluded that the reservoir is composed of limestone. This reservoir has porosity values between 2.05 to 10.52%, water saturation (Sw) is 79,09%, and an average permeability of 1.48 mD. Based on data analysis, reservoir in study area was deposited in shallow marine environments (inner neritic to shallow middle neritic). The result of calculation hydrocarbon reserve (Original Oil In Place) at Velo Field are 29.457.519 STB and Recoverable Reserve are 5.302.353,49 STB.
