| Abstrak | Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang studi efek film dengan menggunakan teori Uses and Gratifications. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebutuhan arousal yang dicari dan kebutuhan arousal yang terpenuhi dalam menonton film bergenre thriller. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai (p-value) 0,000 atau kurang dari nilai α (0,05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi yang positif 0,634. Berdasarkan nilai koefisien tersebut, maka menurut Skala Guilford korelasi dikategorikan memiliki hubungan yang cukup berarti (0,40 – 0,70). Dengan kata lain terdapatnya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan yang dicari dan kepuasan yang diperoleh mahasiswa dari menonton film thriller. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | This research analyzed about the study of film effect using Uses and Gratifications theory. The aims of this reasearch is to know a corelation between the needs level of aurosal gratification sought and aurosal gratification obtained by collegue student of Jenderal Soedirman University in watching thriller movie. Based on the results of data analysis showed that p-value 0,000 or less than value of α (0,05) and a positive correlation coefficient value is 0.634. Based on the value of the coefficient, the correlation categorized according to Guilford Scale has a significant relationship (0,40 – 0,70). In other words, there are positive and significant relationship between the needs level of aurosal gratification sought and aurosal gratification obtained by colleague student in watching thriller movie. |
