Judul ArtikelPENGARUH LEVEL PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR TERHADAP PRODUKSI BAHAN KERING DAN IMBANGAN DAUN-BATANG RUMPUT GAJAH DEFOLIASI KEEMPAT
AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan mengkaji level pemberian pupuk organik cair pada rumput gajah varietas hawai terhadap produksi bahan kering dan imbangan daun-batang defoliasi keempat. Materi yang digunakan adalah rumput Gajah (Pennisetum purpureum) varietas hawai, lahan seluas 233,44 m2 di lahan Pastura Experimental Farm. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental yang dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Ada 7 perlakuan, masing-masing memperlakukan diulang 3 kali. Perlakuan adalah tanpa pupuk cair organik hanya 21 liter air (R0), Pupuk cair organik I dosis 10,5 ml/21 liter air(setara 13 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R1), Pupuk cair organik I dosis 31,5 ml/21 liter air(setara 39 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R2), Pupuk cair organik I dosis 63 ml/21 liter air(setara 78 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R3), Pupuk cair organik II dosis 10,5 ml/21 liter air(setara 2 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R4), Pupuk cair organik II dosis 31,5 ml/21 liter air(setara 6 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R5),dan Pupuk cair organik II dosis 63 ml/21 liter air(setara 12 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R6).Pembuatan pupuk organik cair dengan bahan dasar urin dan slury dengan menggunakan metode nano. Variabel yang diukur yaitu produksi bahan kering dan imbangan daun-batang. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap produksi BK dan imbangan daun-batang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh pupuk organik cair I (urin) dosis 13 mg N/ha/defoliasi sebesar 121,287 ton/ha/defoliasi dan pupuk organik cair II (slury) yang baik , pada level perlakuan (R6) yaitu pada pupuk organik cair II (slury) 12 mg N/ha/defoliasi yakni sebesar 104,317 ton/ha/defoliasi dalam penelitian ini, memberikan pengaruh terhadap produksi bahan kering dan imbangan daun-batang rumput gajah varietas Hawai.
Abstrak (Inggris)The study was aimed to assess the level of Liquid Organic Fertilizers : their Effects on Dry Matter Production And Leaf to Stem Ratio of Elephant Grass at 4th defoliation. The materials used were elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) variety of Hawai, land area of 233.44 m2 on the Pastures of Exp-farm. This experiment used experimental method design according to Completely Randomized Design. There were 7 treatments , each of treat was repeated 3 times. The were treatments without liquid organic fertilizer only 21 liters of water(R0), liquid organic fertilizer I level 10,5 ml/21 liters of water (equal 13 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R1), liquid organic fertilizer I level 31,5 ml/21 liters of water (equal 39 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R2), liquid organic fertilizer I level 63 ml/21 liters of water (equal 78 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R3), liquid organic fertilizer II level 10,5 ml/21 liters of water (equal 2 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R4), liquid organic fertilizer II level 31,5 ml/21 liters of water (equal 6mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R5), liquid organic fertilizer II level 63 ml/21 liters of water (equal 12 mg N/ha/defoliasi) (R6).The variables measured were dry matter production and leaf to stem ratio. The results of analysis of variance showed that the liquid organic fertilizer did not affect significantly (P> 0.05) on the production of dry matter and leaf to stem ratio. Based on the results of this study it is concluded that of liquid organic fertilizer I (urine) doses of 13 mg N/ha/ defoliation similar to amount 121,287 ton/ha/ defoliation and liquid organic fertilizer (slurry) is good, the level treatments (R6) namely of liquid organic fertilizer II (slurry) 12 mg N/ha/ defoliation namely equaled to 104.317 ton/ha/ defoliation in this study, did not give any effect on the production of dry matter and the proportion of leaf to stem ratio of elephant grass, Hawai Variety.
