Judul ArtikelKECERNAAN NEUTRAL DETERGENT FIBER (NDF), ACID DETERGENT FIBER (ADF) DAN SERAT KASAR PAKAN KERBAU BERBASIS JERAMI PADI
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat kecernaan NDF, ADF, dan Serat kasar pada pakan kerbau berbasis jerami padi. Materi yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor kerbau betina dangan kisaran bobot badan 248-334 kg. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan bobot badan awal kerbau sebagai blok dan masing-masing blok menerima tiga perlakuan yaitu A = Pakan Kerbau 100% jerami padi non amoniasi, B = Pakan Kerbau 80% jerami padi non amoniasi + 20% konsentrat dan C = Pakan Kerbau 80% jerami padi amoniasi + 20% konsentrat. Peubah yang diamati adalah kecernaan NDF, ADF dan Serat Kasar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap kecernaan NDF dan Serat Kasar, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) pada kecernaan ADF. Uji beda nyata jujur menginformasikan bahwa pakan jerami padi amoniasi + konsentrat menghasilkan kecernaan NDF dan serat kasar paling tinggi, disusul berturut-turut pakan jerami padi nonamoniasi dan jerami padi nonamoniasi + konsentart. Namun pada kecernaan serat kasar tidak ada perbedaan nyata antara pakan jerami padi nonamoniasi dengan pakan jerami padi nonamoniasi + konsentrat. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pakan kerbau yang disusun dari 80% jerami padi amoniasi dan 20% konsentrat mampu meningkatkan kecernaan NDF dan Serat kasar.
Abstrak (Inggris)The objectives of this research were to determine the level of digestibility of NDF, ADF, and cured fiber Buffalo feed based of rice straw. Materials were 12 female buffaloes with body range of 248-334 kg. The research was conducted by the experimental method designed according to the basic design of randomized block design (RBD), with initial body weight buffaloes as blocks and each of groups received three treatments, .i.e. A = 100% nonammoniation of rice straw, B = 80% nonammoniation of rice straw + 20% feed concentrate and C = 80% ammoniation of rice straw + 20% feed concentrate. Variables measured were digestibility of NDF, ADF and crude fiber. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and honest significant difference test. The results showed that the treatment was significant (P <0.01) on NDF and crude fiber digestibility, but it was not significantly affect (P> 0.05) in the digestibility of ADF. Honest significant difference test informs that feed with ammoniation of rice straw + concentrate has the highest NDF and crude fiber digestibility, followed by rice straw nonamoniation and nonamoniation rice straw + concentrate. But, there was no significantly affect on crude fiber digestibility between nonamoniantion rice straw and nonamoniation rice straw + concentrate. Conclusion of this research was the buffaloes feed with 80% amoniation rice straw and 20% concentrate of DM increased NDF and crude fiber digestibility.
