| Abstrak (Inggris) | The body requires drug or supplements that can optimize the immune system when the immune system is in a state of excellence. Aloe vera is a plant that has the potential as an immunostimulatory. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity of the methanol fraction immunostimulatory aloe leaf, measured value of macrophage phagocytic activity and capacity. This study is an experimental laboratory research. Methanol fraction 125 ppm, 250 ppm and 500 ppm were tested phagocytosis activity and capacity with in vitro macrophage, Phyllanthus niruri L 125 ppm suspension as positive control and RPMI 1640 as blank. Phagocytic activity and capacity data of macrophages were analyzed using one-way ANOVA at 90% confidence interval. The results of this study showed that the administration of the methanol fraction of 125 ppm and 250ppm have not been able to increase the activity and phagocytic capacity while the methanol fraction of 500 ppm can increase activity and phagocytic capacity but did not show a significant difference (p =0.1354 and p=0.3267), therefore has not can be said to have immunostimulatory activity. |
