AbstrakPityrosporum ovale adalah salah satu jamur yang terdapat pada kulit kepala dan menyebabkan ketombe. Salah satu ekstrak tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai antijamur adalah ekstrak daun kamboja putih (Plumeria alba L.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi hambat tumbuh minimum (KHTM) ekstrak etanol daun kamboja putih, formulasi sampo antiketombe, karakteristik sampo antiketombe dan uji aktivitas antijamursediaan sampo karakteristik terbaik. Uji aktivitas pendahuluan antijamur terhadap P.ovale dilakukan pada 125 ppm, kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif. KHTM dilakukan pada variasi konsentrasi 1, 5, 10, 15, 65, dan 125 ppm.Formulasi sampo antiketombe dibuat dengan variasi ekstrak sebesar 0 ppm, 1 ppm, 5 ppm , 10 ppm dan penambahan ketokonazol 10 ppm. Karakterisasi sampo yaitu meliputi nilai pH, alkali bebas, kadar air, stabilitas emulsi dan stabilitas busa. Aktivitas antijamur ekstrak etanol daun kamboja putih pada konsentrasi 125 ppm yaitu sebesar 8.09 mm. Konsentrasi hambat tumbuh minimum (KHTM) ekstrak etanol daun kamboja putih terhadap P.ovale yaitu pada konsentrasi 1 ppm dengan zona hambat sebesar 3,37 mm.
Abstrak (Inggris)Pityrosporum ovale is one of fungi that found on the scalp and causes dandruff. One of plants's extract that potentially as antifungal is extract of white frangipani leaf (Plumeria alba L.). This study aims to determine the minimum inhibitory concertration (MIC) ekstract of white frangipani leaf, anti-dandruff shampoo formulation, characteristics of anti-dandruff shampoo and antifungal activity of the best characteristic shampoo preparations. Antifungal preliminary activity test against P.ovale was performed at 125 ppm, positive control and negative control. MIC was performed at concentrations of 1, 5, 10, 15, 65, and 125 ppm. Formulation anti-dandruff shampoo was prepared with extract variation of 0 ppm, 1 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm and 10 ppm with addition of ketoconazole. Characterization of shampoo that includes pH value, alkali free, moisture content, emulsion stability and foam stability. The antifungal activity of ethanol extract of white frangipani leaves at concentration 125 ppm that is equal to 8.09 mm. The best formulations were tested hedonic and tested their activity against the P.ovale fungus. MIC of extract of white frangipani ethanol to P.ovale at concentration 1 ppm with inhibiton zone of 3.37 mm.
