| Abstrak | Ketombe merupakan gangguan yang terjadi di kulit kepala dimana salah satu penyebabnya adalah jamur Pityrosporum ovale. Salah satu bahan alam yang mengandung senyawa antijamur adalah daun mangga arumanis (Mangifer indica L) dengan kandungan alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, polifenol, saponin dan tanin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi hambat tumbuh minimum ekstrak metanol daun mangga. Penentuan konsentrasi hambat tumbuh minimum (KHTM) menggunakan metode difusi sumuran. KHTM ekstrak metanol daun mangga arumanis terhadap P. ovale yaitu pada konsentrasi 1 ppm dengan zona hambat 3,18 mm. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Dandruff is a disorder that occurs in the scalp where one of the causes is the Pityrosporum ovale fungus. One of the natural medicine that contain antifungal compounds is Mango arumanis leaves (Mangifera indica L) with the content of alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, polyphenol, saponins and tannins. The purpose of this study was to determine the minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) of methanol extract of mango leaves. Determination of minimum inhibitory conentrations (MIC) using the wells diffusion method. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the mango’s methanol extract toward P. ovale as on 1 ppm with inhibitory zone of 3,18 mm. |
