Judul ArtikelEFEK PENAMBAHAN FERMEHERBAFIT ENKAPSULASI DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN DAN LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN DARAH AYAM BROILER
AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek penambahan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan terhadap kadar high density lipoprotein (HDL) dan low density lipoprotein (LDL) darah ayam broiler. Penelitian menggunakan berbagai materi yaitu 80 ekor DOC ayam broiler strain Multi Breeder (MB) 202 Platinum yang dipelihara sampai umur 35 hari. Percobaan dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0 = pakan basal/kontrol; R1 = penambahan 1,5% fermeherbafit nonenkapsulasi, R2 = penambahan 1,5% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi, R3 = penambahan 3,0% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi, dan R4 = penambahan 4,5% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar HDL darah ayam broiler dan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar LDL darah. Uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) terhadap kadar HDL darah menunjukkan bahwa bahwa R0 berbeda nyata dengan R3. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan fermeherbafit non-enkapsulasi meningkatkan kadar HDL sebesar 100 mg/dL, sedangkan penambahan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan meningkatkan kadar HDL dengan rataan sebesar 129,17 mg/dL dari kadar HDL kontrol sebesar 70,83 mg/dL serta penambahan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi menghasilkan rataan kadar LDL darah yang relatif sama.
Abstrak (Inggris)The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effects of encapsulated fermeherbafit addition in diet on high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) of broiler’s blood. The used materials in this research were 80 DOC broiler chickens strain Multi Breeder (MB) 202 Platinum which were maintained until the age of 35 days. The experiments were performed via in vivo experimental method and used Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The research consisted of 5 treatments and were repeatedly 4 times. The treatments consisted of R0 = basal/control diet; R1 = diet contained 1.5% non-encapsulated fermeherbafit, R2 = diet contained 1.5% encapsulated fermeherbafit R3 = diet contained 3.0% encapsulated fermeherbafit, and R4 = diet contained 4.5% encapsulated fermeherbafit. Analysis of variance showed that the use of fermeherbafit encapsulation in diet did significantly affect (P<0.05) HDL levels of broiler’s blood and did not significantly affect (P>0.05) LDL levels. Further test of Honesty Significant Difference (HSD) on HDL levels showed that R0 was significantly different relative to R3. The conclusion is the non-encapsulated fermeherbafit addition increased HDL levels as many as 100 mg/dL while the additional of encapsulated fermeherbafit in diet increased HDL levels with an average 129.17 mg/dL, relative to HDL levels of control, 70.83 mg/dL and encapsulated fermeherbafit addition showed a relative similar results of LDL levels.
