AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi isolat jamur entomopatogen asal Desa Sumpiuh Kecamatan Sumpiuh Kabupaten Banyumas, (2) mengkaji pertumbuhan isolat jamur entomopatogen asal Desa Sumpiuh Kecamatan Sumpiuh Kabupaten Banyumas, dan (3) mengkaji keefektifan isolat jamur entomopatogen asal Desa Sumpiuh dalam mengendalikan WBC. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dan Screen house yang terletak di Desa Pasir Kidul, Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dimulai pada bulan Oktober 2017 sampai dengan Mei 2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan tiga kali ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F. Apabila terdapat beda nyata dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5 persen dan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5 persen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Isolat jamur entomopatogen asal Desa Sumpiuh Kecamatan Sumpiuh Kabupaten Sumpiuh terdiri atas 1 isolat belum teridentifikasi, 1 isolat Curvularia sp., 2 isolat Paecilomyces sp., dan 1 isolat Fusarium sp. (2) Rerata diameter koloni dan bobot miselium tertinggi yaitu isolat S3 yaitu 9 cm dan 0,15 gram. Kepadatan spora tertinggi yaitu isolat S2 sebesar 572,40 x 106 spora/ml. (3) Jamur entomopatogen paling efektif untuk mengendalikan hama wereng batang coklat yaitu isolat S1 pada kepadatan spora 106 spora/ml dengan mortalitas sebesar 63,33 persen.
Abstrak (Inggris)This study aims to (1) identify isolates of entomopathogenic fungi from Sumpiuh Village, Sumpiuh District, Banyumas Regency (2) study the growth of entomopathogenic fungi isolates from Sumpiuh Village, Sumpiuh District, Banyumas Regency and (3) study the effectiveness of entomopathogenic fungi isolates from Sumpiuh Village in controlling brown planthopper. This research was conducted in Plant Protection Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University and Screen house located in Pasir Kidul Village, West Purwokerto Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The study began in October 2017 until May 2018. This study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. The data obtained were analyzed using the F test at a 5 percent error rate. If there is a real difference, a further test will be done using the Least Significance Different (LSD) at the 5 percent level and the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5 percent. The results showed that (1) Isolates of entomopathogenic fungi from Sumpiuh Village, Sumpiuh Sub-district, Banyumas Regency consist of 1 unidentified isolate, 1 isolate Curvularia sp., 2 isolates Paecilomyces sp., and 1 isolate Fusarium sp. (2) The highest mean colony diameter and mycelium weight were S3 isolate of 9 cm and 0.15 grams. The highest spore density is S2 isolate of 572.40 x 106 spores / ml. (3) The most effective entomopathogenic fungi to control brown planthopper pests are S1 isolate in spore density of 106 spores / ml with mortality of 63.33 percent.
