AbstrakPenelitin ini berjudul “Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Paragraf Persuasi dengan Model Kooperatif Think Talk Write Berbantu Media Poster Berbasis Keindahan Alam”. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan pembelajaran menulis paragraf persuasi dengan model kooperatif think talk write (TTW) berbantu media poster berbasis keindahan alam dan mendeskripsikan perubahan perilaku siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Salem setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menulis paragraf persuasi dengan model kooperatif think talk write (TTW) berbantu media poster berbasis keindahan alam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah keterampilan menulis paragraf persuasi siswa kelas VIII G Smp Negeri 1 Salem. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus dilakukan dalam empat tahap yaitu, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik tes dilakukan setelah pembelajaran berakhir, yaitu berupa soal tes membuat paragraf persuasi, sedangkan teknik nontes dilakukan dengan observasi, jurnal siswa dan guru, wawancara, dan dokumentasi foto. Hasil data tes dan nontes dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif untuk data tes dan analisis data kualitatif untuk data nontes. Hasil rata-rata tes keterampilan menulis paragraf persuasi siklus I adalah 70 dan nilai tes pada siklus II adalah 81. Nilai tes tersebut meningkat sebesar 11 atau 15.71% dari siklus I yang semula 70 menjadi 81. Peningkatan nilai tes keterampilan menulis paragraf persuasi diperoleh dengan perbaikan pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif think talk write berbantu media poster berbasis keindahan alam dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf persuasi serta dapat mengubah perilaku belajar siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Salem. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran ini dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran menulis paragraf persuasi. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Menulis Paragraf Persuasi, Model Think Talk Write
Abstrak (Inggris)The Title of the research is "Improving the Writing Skills of Persuasion Paragraphs with Cooperative Models Think Talk Write Helped Poster Media Based on Natural Beauty". This study aims to describe the improvement of learning to write persuasion paragraphs with cooperative models Think Talk Write (TTW) helped poster media based on natural beauty and describe behavioral changes of the students in Class VIII G State 1 Salem Junior High School after learning to write persuasion paragraphs with cooperative models think talk write (TTW). ) helped poster media based on natural beauty. This research is a classroom action research. The subject of this study was the skill of writing persuasion paragraphs of the students in Class VIII G State 1 Salem Junior High School. The study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in four stages, namely, planning, action, observation, and reflection. Technique of data retrieval used in research is test and non-test techniques. Test techniques are carried out after learning ends, which the questions test to make persuasion paragraphs, while the non-test technique is carried out by observation, student and teacher journals, interviews, and photo documentation. The results of test and non-test data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis for test and qualitative data analysis for non-test data. The average result of the skill of writing persuasion paragraph in Cycle I is 70. While the test value in cycle II is 81. The value of the test increased by 11 or 15.71% from cycle I from 70 to 81. Increase the value of writing skill test of persuasion paragraph obtained with improvement in cycle II. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that learning with cooperative models think talk write helped poster media based on natural beauty can improve the writing skill of persuasion paragraph and can change the learning behavior of students in Class VIII G State 1 Salem Junior High School. Therefore, this learning can be an alternative in learning to write persuasion paragraphs. Keywords : Persuasion paragraph, Think Talk Write Model
