| Abstrak | Penelitian yang berjudul Pengaruh Body Condition Score (BCS) terhadap Respon Onset dan Lama Berahi Sapi Pasundan yang diinduksi Hormon Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk dan keerataan hubungan antara BCS dengan respon onset dan lama berahi sapi Pasundan yang diinduksi hormon GnRH. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah sapi Pasundan betina sebanyak 20 ekor dengan bobot badan dan umur yang relatif sama. Bahan lain yang digunakan ialah hormon GnRH dan Aquabides. Alat yang digunakan alat tulis, kamera dan skor BCS. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 6 Februari 2018 sampai dengan 21 April 2018 di Balai Perbibitan Sapi Potong Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan Ciamis Jawa Barat. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Analisis General Linear Model, Analisis Regresi dan Kolerasi. Peubah yang diamati yaitu BCS, onset dan lama berahi sapi Pasundan. Analisis general linear model memperoleh hasil (P<0,01) yang artinya pengaruh BCS terhadap respon onset dan lama berahi berpengaruh nyata. Hasil analisis general linear model menunjukkan bahwa BCS berpengaruh nyata secara linier (P<0,01) pada onset dan lama berahi. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh hubungan BCS terhadap respon onset dan lama berahi menunjukkan hubungan linier yang tidak nyata (P>0,01), dengan koefisien korelasi masing-masing +0,28 dan -0,014; namun BCS tidak menunjukkan tingkat keeratan hubungan yang nyata (P>0.05) terhadap onset dan lama berahi. Disimpulkan bahwa Semakin tinggi BCS maka semakin lambat onset berahi dan semakin cepat lama berahi. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | The study entitled The Affect Body Condition Score (BCS) on response of Onzet and duration of estrous in Pasundan Cows which Induced by Gonadotropin Realising Hormone (GnRH). This study was aimed at investigating the affect of BCS on response onset and duration and determining of estrous in Pasundan cows which induced by GnRH. The material in the study was 20 female Pasundan cows with relatively the same body weight and age. Other materials used were the GnRH and Aquabides, stationery, cameras and BCS scores. The study used an experimental method that was carried out from February 6, 2018 to April 21, 2018 at the Cattle Breeding Station in Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Ciamis, West Java. The research design used was General Linear Model Analysis, Regression and Correlation Analysis. The observed variables were onzet and duration of estrous of Pasundan cows. The result of general linear model analysis showed that BCS significantly affect linearly (P<0,01), on onzet and duration of estrous. The result of regression analysis showed that BCS relationship with the onzet and duration of estrous response were not significant (P>0,05), with correlation coefficients +0.28 and -0.014 respectively. It was concluded that the higher the BCS can not used to determination onzet and duration of estrous. |
