| Abstrak | Penelitian ini berjudul analisis ukuran hiu pada Musim Peralihan II di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudra Cilacap. Sumber daya Elasmobranchii saat ini sedang menghadapi masalah tingginya laju mortalitas akibat over fishing karena tingginya permintaan pasar akan sirip, daging dan kulit hiu serta pari. Penelitian hiu secara spesifik di Indonesia masih sedikit dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ukuran hiu berdasarkan spesies hiu, hubungan panjang dan berat hiu, dan pengaruh musim terhadap jumlah hasil tangkapan hiu yang hidup di perairan Samudera Indonesia dan didaratkan di PPSCilacap. Metode penelitian adalah metode survey. Hiu yang didaratkan di PPS Cilacap diperoleh 3 spesies hiu di PPSC dengan pola pertumbuhan diperoleh allometrik negative. pengelompokan umur berdasarkan ukuran, untuk A.pelagicus diperoleh 16 ekor untuk kelompok umur 2-6 tahun (195-265 cm), 7-9,2 tahun (267-292 cm), 10-13,4 tahun (300-355 cm), 19-25 tahun (365-440 cm); I. oxyrichus 19 ekor untuk kelompok umur 3-5 tahun (177-220 cm), 6-10 tahun (223-293 cm), dan >17 tahun (294-320 cm); dan P. glauca 3 ekor untuk kelompok umur 2-5 tahun (130-200 cm). Berdasarkan hasil tangkapan hiu pada tahun 2017, Hasil tangkapan tertinggi diperoleh pada Musim kemarau dan hasil tangkapan terendah pada musim penghujan. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | The study tittle is analyze of shark size on 2nd transition season at PPS Cilacap. Currently, Elasmobranchii resources are facing the problem of the high rate of extinction due to over fishing. The condition is based on the high of market demand for shark fins, meat and skin of shark and ray. In Indonesia, the research of sharks especially are rarely done. The purpose of the study are to know the size of sharks, correlation length and weight, and influence of the season towards the number of sharks are caught in the Indonesian Ocean and landed at PPSC. The survey research method was resulted 3 species of sharks. The growth pattern of the sharks were obtained negative allometric. The age group based on size for A. pelagicus was obtained 16 sharks for age group 2-6 years (195-265 cm), 7-9,2 years (267-292 cm), 10-13,4 years (300-355 cm), and 19-25 years (365-440 cm); I. oxyrichus was obtained 19 sharks for age group 3-5 years (177-220 cm), 6-10 years (223-293 cm), and >17 years (294-320 cm); and P. glauca was found 3 sharks for age group 2-5 years (130-200 cm). Based on sharks were caught in 2017, the highest number of shark were caught on dry season and wet season as lowest number sharks were caught from Indonesian Ocean. |
