| Abstrak | Latar Belakang : Nyeri sendi merupakan efek samping dari Obat Anti Tuberkulosis (OAT) yang dapat menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman, keterbatasan gerak sendi dan gangguan berjalan. Metode non farmakologi penanganan nyeri dapat berupa akupresur dan kompres hangat. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui pengaruh akupresur titik Ki.3 dan kompres hangat terhadap skala nyeri sendi pada penderita Tuberkulosis. Metodologi : Desain penelitian yang digunakan quasy experimental pre post test with control groups design pada 34 responden. Pengukuran nyeri menggunakan NRS. Uji statistik yang digunakan Wilcoxon dan Mann-whitney. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan skala nyeri sendi yang bermakna sebelum dan setelah tindakan kombinasi akupresur titik Ki.3 dan kompres hangat (p 0,001) dan yang diberi kompres hangat (p 0,001). Kedua kelompok tidak terdapat perbedaan penurunan skala nyeri sendi yang signifikan (p 0,054). Kesimpulan : Kombinasi akupresur titik Ki.3 dan kompres hangat mampu menurunkan nyeri sendi pada penderita Tuberkulosis Kata Kunci : Nyeri sendi, Tuberkulosis, Akupresur, Kompres hangat. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Background : Joint pain is a side effect of an anti-tuberculosis drug which can cause discomfort, limited joint motion and gait disorder. Non-pharmacological pain management includes acupressure and warm compres. The objective of the study was to determine the effect of acupressure Ki.3 and warm compress on joint pain scale in patients with Tuberculosis. Methodology: This research design used quasi-experiment pre post test with control groups design to 34 respondents. Measurement of pain used NRS. Statistical tests used in this study were Wilcoxon and Mann-whitney Tests. Results: The results of the study indicated that there was a significant difference in joint pain scale before and after the treatment of combination of acupressure Ki.3 points and warm compress (p 0,001) and those treated with warm compress (p 0,001). There was no significant difference in the decrease of joint pain scale in the two group (p 0,054). Conclusion : The combination of acupressure Ki.3 point and warm compress could reduce joint pain in patient with Tuberculosis. Keywords : Joint pain, Tuberculosis, Acupressure, warm compresses. |
