| Abstrak | Penelitian ini berjudul hubungan fraksi sedimen dengan porositas sedimen wilayah pasang surut pantai Teluk Penyu Cilacap. Fraksi sedimen mempresentasikan ukuran butir, sortasi dan penyusunan butir sedimen. Porositas merupakan perbandingan volume rongga terhadap volume total. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan fraksi sedimen dengan porositas sedimen di wilayah pasang surut pantai Teluk Penyu Cilacap. Metode survei ini mengkoleksi sedimen di 8 stasiun menggunakan sediment core sampler, dan fraksi sedimen dianalisis di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian dan porositas dianalisis di Laboratorium Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Analisis hubungan fraksi dan porositas menggunakan software SPSS 20. Sedimen saat pasang dan surut di Teluk Penyu Cilacap di dominasi oleh pasir sangat halus saat pasang 51,38% dan saat surut 37,18%. Ukuran rata – rata sedimen (mean size) pada wilayah pasang dan surut didominasi oleh pasir sangat halus. Porositas saat pasang 48,24%, sedangkan pada saat surut 49,13% termasuk kedalam kategori porositas sedang. Hubungan fraksi sedimen dengan porositas sedimen pada saat pasang dan surut sangat kuat, semakin besar ukuran mean size sedimen diikuti peningkatan porositas. Secara statistik (P<0,05) tidak tedapat perbedaan antara fraksi sedimen dan porositas sedimen pada saat pasang dan surut. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | This study entitled the relationship of sediment fraction with sediment porosity in tidal areas of Teluk Penyu Cilacap. The sediment fraction presents grain size, sorting and preparation of sediment grains. Porosity is the ratio of volume of cavity to total volume. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of the fraction with porosity of sediments at tidal region beach of Teluk Penyu Cilacap. This survey method collected sediments at 8 stations using sediment core samplers, fraction sediments analyzed in the agriculture faculty laboratory and porosity are analyzed in Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science Laboratories Jenderal Soedirman University. Analysis of the relationship of fractions and porosity using software SPSS 20. Tidal sediments in beach of Teluk Penyu Cilacap is dominated by very fine sand with 51,38% of high tide and at low tide 37,18%. The mean size of the tidal region is dominated by very fine sand. At the high tide 48,24% porosity value, while at the low tide the porosity value is 49,13% included in medium category. The relationship of the sediment fraction and sedimen porosity at high tide and low tide is very strong, the larger grain size of mean size sediments followed the increase in porosity. Statistically (P<0.05) there is no difference between the fraction of sediments and porosity of sediments at high tide and low tide. |
