Judul ArtikelPola Segregasi Karakter Fisik Biji pada Tanaman Kedelai (Glycine max [L.] Merrill) Generasi F2 Hasil Persilangan Varietas Grobogan dan Genotipe Asal Nigeria
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengestimasi bentuk sebaran dan pola segregasi karakter fisik biji F2 hasil persilangan kedelai varietas Grobogan dan genotipe asal Nigeria, 2) mengetahui jumlah gen yang mengatur karakter fisik biji kedelai generasi F2 hasil persilangan varietas Grobogan dan genotipe asal Nigeria, 3) mengetahui beberapa karakter agronomi generasi F2 hasil persilangan varietas Grobogan dan genotipe asal Nigeria beserta kedua tetuanya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen House dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto pada bulan Oktober 2018 - Maret 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Augmented Design yang selanjutnya diuji kenormalan dengan uji Liliefors dan diuji dengan uji Khi Kuadrat. Faktor yang digunakan adalah genotipe F2 hasil persilangan varietas Grobogan dan genotipe asal Nigeria. Karakter yang diamati meliputi panjang biji, lebar biji, rasio panjang/lebar biji, bobot 100 biji, tinggi tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman, warna biji, dan warna hilum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebaran frekuensi karakter panjang biji, lebar biji, dan bobot 100 biji pada populasi F2 mengikuti kurva sebaran normal sehingga merupakan karakter kuantitatif sedangkan sebaran frekuensi untuk karakter rasio panjang/lebar biji tidak mengikuti sebaran normal sehingga merupakan karakter kualitatif. Jumlah gen yang mengendalikannya yaitu dua gen yang bekerja secara epistasis dominan duplikat dengan nisbah 15:1. Populasi F2 hasil persilangan kedelai varietas Grobogan dan genotipe asal Nigeria berada di antara kedua tetua kedelai varietas Grobogan dan genotipe asal Nigeria dengan karakter rerata tinggi tanaman 112 cm, warna biji kuning dan coklat, warna hilum coklat, dan rerata bobot biji per tanaman 13,04 gram.
Abstrak (Inggris)The research aimed to : 1) estimate the form of distribution and segregation pattern of physical characteristics of the F2 seeds resulted from crossing Grobogan variety and Nigerian genotype, 2) know the total of gen that regulate the physical characteristics of the F2 generation soybean resulted from the crossing of Grobogan variety and Nigerian genotype, 3) know some charateristics agronomy of the F2 generation soybean resulted from the crossing of Grobogan variety and Nigerian genotype and the progeny. The research was conducted in the Screen House and Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto in October 2018 – March 2019. The experimental design used is Augmented Design with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which is then gone through normality test using Liliefors test a further testing using Khi Kuadrat test. Factor that is used is genotype F2 resulted from crossing Grobogan variety and Nigerian genotype. The observed variable were the length of seed, width of seed, length/width ratio of seed, the 100 seed weight, the plant height, the total weight of seeds per plant, the color of seed, and the color of hilum. The result of the research showed that the distribution of the character frequency of length of seed, the width of seed, and the 100 seed weight on F2 population follow the normal distribution curve which are quantitative character, while the distribution of the character frequency of the length/width ratio of seed do not follow the normal distribution curve which are qualitative character. The total of gen regulate this is two gen which work in duplicate dominant epistasis manner with 15:1 ratio. Population F2 the resulted from crossing Grobogan variety and Nigerian genotype between the two progeny soybean Grobogan variety and Nigerian genotype with the characteristic average of the pant height 112 cm, the color of seed yellow and brown, the color of hilum is brown, and the total weight of seeds per plant 13,04 grams.
