Judul ArtikelPengaruh Pupuk Organik Ampas Kopi dan Pengurangan Pupuk NPK Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Selada Merah (Lactuca sativa var. "Olga Red")
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik ampas kopi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah (Lactuca sativa var. “Olga Red”); 2) mengkaji pengaruh pengurangan pupuk NPK pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah; serta 3) mengkaji pengaruh kombinasi pupuk organik ampas kopi dengan pengurangan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah. Penelitian dimulai pada Juni sampai Agustus 2019, di screen house Desa Limpakuwus Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Bahan yang digunakan antara lain benih selada merah varietas “Olga Red”, air, tanah andisol, pupuk organik ampas kopi, dan pupuk NPK. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah pengurangan dosis pupuk NPK yaitu 0 g; 0,8 g; dan 1,6 g. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk organik ampas kopi yaitu 0 g, 15 g; 30 g; dan 45 g. Masing-masing kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 5 tanaman diambil 3 sampel, secara keseluruhan diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan, sehingga total tanaman adalah 180 dan 108 tanaman yang diamati. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar daun, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering daun, bobot kering akar, dan luas daun. Data dianalisis dengan Analisis Sidik Ragam (Analysis of Variance), apabila terdapat pengaruh yang nyata, diuji lanjut dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) dosis pupuk organik ampas kopi sejumlah yaitu 15 g/tanaman mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, dan luas daun; 2) dosis pengurangan pupuk NPK sejumlah 1,6 g/tanaman dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar daun, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering daun, dan luas daun; dan 3) kombinasi antara pupuk organik ampas kopi dan pengurangan pupuk NPK tidak mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah.
Abstrak (Inggris)This research aimed to analyze: 1) the effect of coffee grounds organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of red lettuce, 2) the effect decreased ammount of NPK fertilizer on growth and yield of red lettuce and 3) the best combination of coffee grounds organic fertilizer with decreased ammount of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of red lettuce. The research was conducted from June to August 2019 at the screen house Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang, Banyumas and Agronomy Horticulture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. Materials used include: red lettuce variety Olga red, water, andisol soil, coffee ground organic fertilizer, and NPK fertilizer. The experiment design used was Randomized Completely Block Design with two factors. The first factor was decreased ammount of NPK fertilizer, namely 0 g/plant, 0,8 g/plant, and 1,6 g/plant. The second factor was coffee grounds organic fertilizer, namely 0 g/plant, 15 g/plant, 30 g/plant, and 45 g/plant. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times, each unit of the experiment consisted of 5 plants and 3 plants were used the sample as. Therefore, this research was consisted of 12 treatment combinations, with the total of 180 plants and 108 samples. The variables observed were plant height, leaf number, length root, fresh plant weight, fresh leaf weight, fresh root weight, dry plant weight, dry plant weight, dry leaf plant, dry root plant, and leaf area. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (Anova), if there is a significant effect followed test by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) on level 5%. The results showed that: 1) the best coffee grounds organic fertilizer dose is 15 g/plant increased plant height, fresh plant weight, and leaf area, 2) the best decreased ammount of NPK fertilizer dose of 1,6 g/plant increased plant height, leaf number, fresh plant weight, fresh leaf weight, fresh root weight, dry plant weight, dry leaf weight, and leaf area, and 3) the combination of the coffee grounds organic fertilizer and decreased ammount of NPK fertilizer could not increase the growth and yield of red lettuce.
