| Abstrak | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh lima formula pupuk N slow release terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis, dan (2) formula pupuk N slow release yang tepat untuk memperoleh pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis yang terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada September 2018 sampai dengan Januari 2019 di desa Kebumen kecamatan Baturraden kabupaten Banyumas dan Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah Fakultas Pertanian UNSOED, Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan polybag dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 1 faktor dan 4 kali ulangan. Faktor berupa lima (5) pupuk formula N slow yaitu 5 macam perbandingan jumlah bahan penyusun yang berbeda-beda dan 1 buah kontrol, yaitu F0/kontrol (5,25 g tanaman-1), F1 (10 g tanaman-1), F2 (7,7 g tanaman-1), F3(9,1 g tanaman-1), F4(7,5 g tanaman-1), dan F5 (7,9 g tanaman-1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk nitrogen yang dilapis bahan lokal berpengaruh nyata pada pada variabel tinggi tanaman, luas daun, jumlah daun, bobot segar tajuk, dan bobot segar tongkol. Formula pupuk nitrogen yang dilapis bahan lokal terbaik yaitu F4 dengan formula (70% Urea, 10% Azolla microphylla, 10% Gondorukem, 10% Asam humat). Pupuk N slow release F4 meningkatkan produksi bobot tongkol segar sebesar 58% dibanding kontrol. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of five slow release N fertilizer formulas on the growth and yield of sweet corn plants, and (2) the right slow release N fertilizer formula to obtain the best growth and yield of sweet corn plants. This research was conducted in September 2018 to January 2019 in Kebumen village, Baturraden district, Banyumas district and the Soil Science Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, UNSOED, Purwokerto. This study used a poly bag with a Randomized Complete Group Design (RCBD) with 1 factor and 4 replications. Factors in the form of five (5) N slow release formula fertilizers are 5 kinds of comparisons of the amount of different constituents and 1 control, namely F0 / control (5.25 g plant-1), F1 (10 g plant-1), F2 (7.7 g of plant-1), F3 (9.1 g of plant-1), F4 (7.5 g of plant-1), and F5 (7.9 g of plant-1). The results showed that the application of nitrogen fertilizer coated with local material had a significant effect on the variable plant height, leaf area, number of leaves, canopy fresh weight, and fresh weight of cob. The best nitrogen fertilizer coated formula is F4 with formula (70% Urea, 10% Azolla microphylla, 10% Gondorukem, 10% Humic acid). F4 slow release N fertilizer increases the weight production of fresh cobs by 58% compared to control. |
