AbstrakBelimbing madu merupakan salah satu komoditas lokal potensial di Kabupaten Kebumen. Desa Waluyorejo di Kecamatan Puring merupakan sentra produksi usahatani belimbing madu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) karakteristik sosial dan ekonomi petani belimbing madu, 2) kelayakan finansial usahatani belimbing madu, 3) sensitivitas usahatani belimbing madu, 4) kontribusi pendapatan usahatani belimbing madu terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2019. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan kriteria petani responden yang menanam belimbing madu pada tahun 2013 dan diperoleh jumlah petani responden sebanyak 17 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Rata-rata: umur petani responden 48 tahun, tingkat pendidikan petani lulusan SLTP, jumlah tanggungan keluarga petani 2 orang, pengalaman usahatani petani 6 tahun, dan luas lahan garapan petani 0,15 ha. 2) Secara finansial, usahatani belimbing madu yang dijalankan berada dalam kondisi layak berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kriteria investasinya, dimana NPV bernilai positif, IRR lebih dari discount rate 15%, Net B/C yang lebih dari satu, Profitability Ratio yang lebih dari satu, dan Payback Period selama 2 tahun 2 bulan 21 hari. 3) Berdasarkan analisis sensitivitasnya, usahatani belimbing madu masih layak dijalankan jika terjadi kenaikan biaya pupuk organik sebesar 70%, kenaikan biaya tenaga kerja sebesar 24%, penurunan jumlah produksi hingga 37%, dan penurunan harga jual hingga 36%. 4) Usahatani belimbing madu memberikan kontribusi yang tergolong rendah, yaitu sebesar 33,7% dari total pendapatan rumah tangga petani.
Abstrak (Inggris)Madu starfruit was one of the potential local commodity in Kebumen Regency. Waluyorejo village in Puring Subdistrict as madu starfruit production centre. The aim of this research were to analyze 1) Farmer’s socio-economic characteristics. 2) Financial feasibility of madu starfruit farming, 3) Madu starfruit farm sensitivity towards production cost, selling price, and product (output), and 4) Income contribution from madu starfruit farm towards farmer household income. This research was held on May until July 2019. The respondents determined purposively with farmers criteria which was planted madu starfruit in 2013 and seventeen (17) farmer respondents was chosen. The result of this research shows that 1) Farmer respondents’s age average was 48 years old, education level average was middle school, family dependent average was 2 members, farming experience average was 6 years, yields area average was 0,15 ha. 2) Madu starfruit farm was feasible proven by: NPV is positive, IRR value more than discount rate 15%, Net B/C value more than 1, PR more than 1, and Payback period 2 years 2 months and 21 days. 3) Based on its sensitivity analysis, the madu starfruit in Waluyorejo is still feasible if there was increasing of organic fertilizer cost 70% and increasing of labor cost 24%, decreasing of selling price until 27% and products (output) decreasing until 36%. 4) The madu starfruit farm in Waluyorejo Village contribute 33,7% from total farmers household income.
