Judul ArtikelANALISIS FAKTOR–FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI FRAUDULENT FINANCIAL REPORTING DENGAN PERSPEKTIF CROWE’S FRAUD PENTAGON THEORY
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Fraudulent Financial Reporting dengan Perspektif Crowe’s Fraud Pentagon Theory. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor keuangan Indonesia yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2016-2018, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling, sampel yang diambil berjumlah 50 perusahaan yang terdapat pada sektor keuangan Indonesia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Stabilitas Keuangan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fraudulent Financial Reporting; (2) Sifat Industri tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fraudulent Financial Reporting; (3) Opini Audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fraudulent Financial Reporting; (4) Perubahan Dewan Direksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fraudulent Financial Reporting; (5) Frekuensi Kemunculan Gambar CEO tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fraudulent Financial Reporting. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua variabel dalam penelitian ini tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fraudulent Financial Reporting. Keterbatasan dan saran dalam penelitian ini: (1) Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan data sekunder sehingga kurang menggambarkan adanya indikasi Fraudulent Financial Reporting, peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan kombinasi antara penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif; (2) Penggunaan variabel dalam penelitian ini belum mampu mendeteksi adanya indikasi Fraudulent Financial Reporting, peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan variabel lain seperti variabel tekanan eksternal.
Abstrak (Inggris)This study aims to determine the factors that influence Fraudulent Financial Reporting with the Perspective of Crow's Fraud Pentagon Theory. The population in this study are all Indonesian financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2016-2018 period, with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling, the samples taken amounted to 50 companies found in the Indonesian financial sector. The data analysis technique used in this study is logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Financial Stability has no effect on the Fraudulent Financial Reporting; (2) The nature of the industry has no effect on the Fraudulent Financial Reporting; (3) Audit Opinion does not affect the Financial Reporting Fraudulent; (4) Changes in the Board of Directors do not affect the Financial Statement Reporting; (5) The Frequency of CEO Image Appearance has no effect on the Fraudulent Financial Reporting. It can be concluded that all variables in this study did not affect Fraudulent Financial Reporting. Limitations and suggestions in this study: (1) This study only uses secondary data so that it does not adequately illustrate the existence of Fraudulent Financial Reporting indications, researchers can then use a combination of quantitative and qualitative research; (2) The use of variables in this study has not been able to detect any indication of Fraudulent Financial Reporting, researchers can then use other variables such as external pressure variables.
