Judul ArtikelEKSPLORASI DAN UJI VIRULENSI JAMUR PATOGEN GULMA DAUN LEBAR PERTANAMAN JAGUNG TERHADAP GULMA DAUN LEBAR DAN TANAMAN BUDIDAYA
Abstrak (Inggris)A research aimed to obtain board leaf weed pathogenis fungi found at clove plantation, and determine etheir virulence on broad leaf weed and on maize, rice and sorghum. The research was carried out at the Plant Protection Laboratory and the screen house at faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from January to November 2020. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and Screen House, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from January to November 2020. The research was carried out in three stages, namely: 1) exploration and identification of pathogenic fungi, 2) virulent test of the pathogens using a split-plot design repeated three times, with main plots as Curvularia sp. and Chaetomium sp. and subplots as billy goat weed (Ageratum conyzides L.), thorn spinach (Amaranthus spinosus L.), buttonweed (Borreria alata), indian copperleaf (Acalypha indica L.), and knobweed (Hyptis capitata), 3) virulent test of the pathogens at cultivated plants using a split-plot design repeated three times, with main plots as Chaetomium sp., and Curvularia sp. and subplots as maize, rice, and sorghum. Variables observed were disease symptoms, morphology of the pathogenic fungi, incubation period, disease intensity, crop height, and dry weight. Results of this research indicated that the pathogenic fungi as Curvularia sp. and Chaetomium sp. were obtained. Both are capable of causing disease in broad leaf weeds with disease intensities of 9.97 and 10.23% with an incubation period of 88.22 and 88.59%. The pathogenic fungus Chaetomium sp. and Curvularia sp. able to cause disease in cultivated plants with intensities of 21.17 and 17.93% with an incubation period of 88 and 87.18%.
