| Abstrak | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara tingkat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi petani dan mengetahui faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap tingkat motivasi petani dalam budidaya tanaman kedelai edamame (Glycine max L Merrill) yang dilakukan di Desa Bojong, Kecamatan Mrebet, Kabupaten Purbalingga yang merupakan pelaku usahatani kedelai edamame. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Januari 2021 sampai 20 Februari 2021 di Desa Bojong, Kecamatan Mrebet, Kabupaten Purbalingga menggunakan metode survei. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif untuk mengetahui gambaran umum Petani Kedelai Edamame di Desa Bojong serta analisis kuantitatif untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi baik dari segi usia, tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan, harga jual, dan ketersediaan sarana produksi terhadap tingkat motivasi yang terdiri dari motivasi sosiologis dan motivasi ekonomi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Variabel Pendidikan (X2) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Motivasi Ekonomi (Y1), sedangkan Usia (X1) Pendapatan (X3), Harga Jual (X4) dan Ketersediaan Sarana Produksi (X5) tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Motivasi Ekonomi (Y1) dan Motivasi Sosiologis (Y2). Faktor-faktor yang mempengeruhi motivasi ekonomi petani ialah Variabel Pendidikan sedangkan untuk motivasi sosiologis petani tidak ada faktor yang mempengaruhi. Mayoritas usia petani termasuk dalam kategori usia produktif dengan rentang 15-64 tahun yaitu sebanyak 43 responden atau 95,5%, Pendidikan formal petani termasuk kategori sedang yaitu telah tamat SMP & SMA masing-masing sebanyak 16 responden atau 35,5%, Pendapatan petani per bulan termasuk kategori rendah dengan rentang Rp1.000.000 – Rp1.400.000 sebanyak 13 responden atau 28,89%, Harga Jual kedelai edamame termasuk kategori rendah mayoritas di rentang Rp5.000 - Rp9.000/Kg sebanyak 36 Responden atau 80% dan Ketersediaan sarana produksi termasuk kedalam kategori cukup dengan mayoritas responden sebanyak 22 orang atau 48,9%. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | This study aims to determine the effect of the level of factors that influence the motivation of farmers and determine the factors that most influence the level of motivation of farmers in the cultivation of edamame soybean (Glycine max L Merrill) which is carried out in Bojong Village, Mrebet District, Purbalingga Regency which is the perpetrator edamame soybean farming. The study was conducted from January 20, 2021 to February 20, 2021 in Bojong Village, Mrebet District, Purbalingga Regency using a survey method. The data analysis used was qualitative analysis to find out the general description of Edamame Soybean Farmers in Bojong Village and quantitative analysis to determine the factors that influence motivation in terms of age, education level, income, selling price, and availability of production facilities to the level of motivation consisting of from sociological motivation and economic motivation. The results showed that the Educational Variable (X2) had a significant effect on Economic Motivation (Y1), while Age (X1) Income (X3), Selling Price (X4) and Availability of Production Facilities (X5) had no effect on Economic Motivation (Y1 ) and Sociological Motivation (Y2). The factors that influence the economic motivation of farmers are education, while for the sociological motivation of farmers there are no influencing factors. The majority of farmers are in the productive age category with a range of 15-64 years as many as 43 respondents or 95.5%, Formal education of farmers is in the medium category, namely having graduated from junior high school and high school each as many as 16 respondents or 35.5%, farmer income per month is in the low category with a range of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 1,400,000 as many as 13 respondents or 28.89%, the selling price of edamame soybeans is included in the low category, the majority in the range of IDR 5,000 - IDR 9,000/Kg as many as 36 respondents or 80% and Availability production facilities are included in the sufficient category with the majority of respondents as many as 22 people or 48.9%. |
