| Abstrak | Ketimpangan dalam pendidikan adalah salah satu masalah yang dihadapi Indonesia. Salah satu fenomena ketimpangan tersebut adalah munculnya anggapan sekolah favorit dan tidak favorit. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan membuat kebijakan sistem zonasi. Sistem zonasi bertujuan memeratakan sekolah di Indonesia agar tidak ada lagi sekolah favorit dan tidak favorit. Sebagai sebuah solusi, sistem ini belum sepenuhnya dapat menyelesaikan masalah. Salah satu pihak yang merasakan dampak sistem ini adalah guru. Penerapan sistem zonasi menimbulkan persepsi dan sikap yang berbeda diantara guru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi dan sikap guru terhadap sistem zonasi yang diterapkan di SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto dan SMA Negeri 1 Baturraden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) guru SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto dan SMA Negeri 1 Baturraden mendefinisikan sistem zonasi menjadikan jarak sebagai pedoman dalam PPDB; sosialisasi kepada guru selalu dilakukan setiap adanya perubahan peraturan sistem zonasi; sistem zonasi memberikan perubahan karakteristrik pada peserta didik; sistem zonasi memberikan kemudahan dan hambatan bagi guru. (2) ada guru yang setuju dengan sistem zonasi dengan catatan perlu adanya penambahan fasilitas pendukung, ada guru yang tidak menyatakan setuju atau tidak setuju, dan ada juga yang menyatakan tidak setuju pada sistem zonasi. | Abstrak (Inggris) | Inequality in education is one of the problems facing Indonesia. One of the phenomena of inequality is the emergence of the notion of favorite and unfavorable schools. To overcome this problem, the Ministry of Education and Culture made a zoning system policy. The zoning system aims to equalize schools in Indonesia so that there are no more favorite and unfavorable schools. As a solution, this system is not fully able to solve the problem. One of the parties who feel the impact of this system is the teacher. The application of the zoning system creates different perceptions and attitudes among teachers. Therefore, this study aims to describe the perceptions and attitudes of teachers towards the zoning system applied at SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto and SMA Negeri 1 Baturraden. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study were: (1) teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto and SMA Negeri 1 Baturraden defined a zoning system using distance as a guideline in PPDB; socialization to teachers is always carried out every time there is a change in the zoning system regulations; the zoning system provides changes to the characteristics of students; the zoning system provides convenience and obstacles for teachers. (2) there are teachers who agree with the zoning system with a note that there is a need for additional supporting facilities, there are teachers who do not agree or disagree, and there are also those who disagree with the zoning system.
