| Abstrak | Hemolytic Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelet Syndrome (HELLP Syndrome) merupakan komplikasi dari preeklampsia yang ditandai dengan adanya kelainan laboratorium berupa hemolisis, peningkatan enzim-enzim hati dan penurunan jumlah trombosit. HELLP Syndrome merupakan suatu keadaan yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Kematian akibat HELLP Syndrome sebesar 3,5 % sampai 25 %, sehingga sangat penting untuk diketahui dan segera diatasi. Penanganan HELLP Syndrome masih belum diterapkan secara maksimal terkait dengan keterbatasan sumberdaya di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh HELLP Syndrome terhadap kematian kasus preeklampsia di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Periode 1 Januari - 31 Desember 2011. Desain penelitian adalah Cross Sectional, dengan 88 pasien dengan preeklampsia di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Periode 1 Januari - 31 Desember 2011. Semua sampel diambil dengan melihat data rekam medik pasien. Data dideskripsikan dalam bentuk tabel, dianalisis dengan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kejadian HELLP Syndromesebesar 17%. Kasus yang mengalami kematian dengan HELLP Syndrome sebesar 66,6%. Terdapat pengaruh HELLP Syndrome terhadap kematian kasus preeklampsia di RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Periode 1 Januari - 31 Desember 2011 (x2 = 34,822, p = 0,000). Risiko kematian akibat HELLP Syndrome pada kasus preeklampsia adalah 12,17 kali lipat dibandingkan dengan kasus preeklampsia tanpa HELLP Syndrome. Kata kunci:HELLP Syndrome, preeklampsia |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Hemolytic Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelet Syndrome (HELLP Syndrome) is complication of preeclampsia which characterized by the presence of laboratory abnormalities such as hemolysis, high level of liver enzymes, and low platelet count. HELLP Syndrome is the condition that causes of death. Deaths cause of HELLP Syndrome is 3.5% to 25%, so it is important to know and to be overcome. HELLP Syndrome treatment is still less because of the resources lackness in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital. This study, aims to discover the impact of HELLP Syndrome on the mortality of preeclampsia cases in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital from 1 January - 31 December 2011. The study was cross sectional with 88 patients with preeclampsia in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo hospitals. The data sources are the patients’s medical records. Data were described in tabular form, and were analyzed with Chi-square test. The results showed that the incidence of HELLP Syndrome was 17%. The case fatality rate of HELLP Syndrome was 66,6%. There is a significant influence of HELLP Syndrome on the mortality of preeclampsia cases in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital during 1 January - 31 December 2011 (x2 = 34,822, p = 0,000).
