AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh campuran air kelapa muda, madu dan NaCl Fisiologis serta volume yang terbaik untuk motilitas, viabilitas dan daya fertilisasi spermatozoa. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimental menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan meliputi A (99,4% air kelapa muda dan 0,6% madu), B (66,2% air kelapa muda, 33,2% NaCl Fisiologis dan 0,6% madu), C (33,2% air kelapa muda, 66,2% NaCl Fisiologis dan 0,6% madu), D (99,4% NaCl Fisiologis dan 0,6% madu) dan E (100% aquades). Variabel penelitian meliputi motilitas, viabilitas dan daya fertilisasi spermatozoa. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Agustus sampai September 2012 di Laboratorium JPK Fakultas Sains dan Teknik, UNSOED. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua perlakuan berpengaruh terhadap motilitas dan daya fertilisasi spermatozoa ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio L.), tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap viabilitas. Volume yang tepat untuk motilitas terbaik pada campuran air kelapa muda sebanyak 33,2%, NaCl Fisiologis 66,2% dan madu 0,6%, sedangkan volume yang tepat untuk daya fertilisasi spermatozoa terbaik pada campuran NaCl Fisiologis 99,4% dan Madu 0,6%.
Abstrak (Inggris)The study aims to determine the effect of coconut water, honey and Physiological NaCl mixture in an appropriate volume for motility, viability and fertilization of sperm. The study was carried out experimentally using completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments in quadruplicates. The treatment were A (99.4% coconut water and honey 0.6%), B (66.2% coconut water, 33.2% and 0.6% NaCl Physiological honey), C (33.2% water coconut, 66.2% honey and 0.6% NaCl Physiological), D (99.4% NaCl Physiological and 0.6% honey) and E (100% aquades). Variables were sperm motility, viability and fertilization. The study was conducted during August-September 2012 at the Laboratory of JPK Faculty of Science and Technique, Unsoed. The results showed that all treatment affected significantly on sperm motility and sperm fertilization common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.), however they did not effect viability. Appropriate volume to the best motility was mixture of coconut water as much as 33.2%, NaCl Physiological 66.2% and honey 0.6%, while the volume of the right to power fertilization spermatozoa best mixture of 99.4% NaCl Physiological and Honey 0.6%.
