AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penampilan agronomi beberapa genotip kedelai hasil mutasi sinar gamma pada generasi M1, mendapatkan dosis radiasi yang efektif terhadap peningkatan penampilan dari beberapa genotip kedelai, serta untuk mengetahui adanya interaksi antara dosis radiasi sinar gamma dengan beberapa genotip kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan menggunakan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah dosis radiasi sinar gamma dengan taraf 0 Gy, 100 Gy dan 200 Gy dan faktor kedua adalah jenis genotipe kedelai yaitu Varietas Grobogan, Slamet, Galur GS 3, GS 7, GS 12, GS 30 dan GS47. Variabel yang diamati yaitu waktu berkecambah, persentase perkecambahan, warna hipokotil, tinggi tanaman, jumlah buku, jumlah daun, luas daun, warna daun, umur tanaman berbunga, umur panen, jumlah polong pertanaman, bobot biji pertanaman, bobot 100 biji, dan bobot kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penampilan agronomi seluruh genotip kedelai yang diuji berbeda pada variabel persentase perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah buku, jumlah daun, luas daun, umur tanaman berbunga, umur panen, jumlah polong pertanaman, bobot biji pertanaman, bobot 100 biji dan bobot kering tanaman. Dosis radiasi sinar gamma yang dicobakan belum kuat merubah struktur genetik kedelai sehingga penampilannya tidak banyak mengalami perubahan. Terjadi interaksi antara dosis sinar gama dengan genotip kedelai pada variabel persentase perkecambahan, umur tanaman berbunga, umur panen dan bobot 100 biji.
Abstrak (Inggris)This study aims to determine the agronomic appearance of several soybean genotypes resulting from gamma ray mutations in the M1 generation, to obtain an effective radiation dose to increase the appearance of several soybean genotypes, and to determine the interaction between gamma ray radiation dose and several soybean genotypes. The research was conducted at the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto. The experimental design used in the study was a randomized block design using 2 factors. The first factor is the gamma radiation dose with levels of 0 Gy, 100 Gy and 200 Gy and the second factor is the type of soybean genotype, namely the Grobogan variety, Slamet variety, GS3, GS7, GS12, GS30, and GS47 strains. The variables observed were germination time, percentage of germination, the color of hypocotyl, plant height, number of nodes, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf color, age of the flowering plant, age of harvest, number of pods planted, the weight of seeds planted, the weight of 100 seeds, and plant dry weight. The results showed that the agronomic performance of all soybean genotypes tested differed on the variables of germination percentage, plant height, number of nodes, number of leaves, leaf area, age of the flowering plant, age of harvest, number of pods planted, the weight of seeds planted, the weight of 100 seeds and plant dry weight. The dose of gamma ray radiation that was tried was not strong enough to change the genetic structure of soybeans so their its appearance did not change much. There was an interaction between the dose of gamma rays and soybean genotype on the variables of germination percentage, flowering plant age, harvest age and weight of 100 seeds.
