Judul ArtikelPENGARUH CAMPURAN JAMUR PATOGEN Fusarium sp., Chaetomium sp., DAN Curvularia sp., TERHADAP PERKECAMBAHAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN JAGUNG
AbstrakJamur patogen gulma memiliki potensi untuk mengendalikan gulma pada area pertanaman jagung. Namun, perlu diketahui keamanan hayati dari penggunaan herbisida hayati tersebut pada tanaman jagung. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jamur patogen terhadap perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dan lahan terbatas di Desa Tambaksogra, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap dengan 8 perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol, jamur tunggal Fusarium sp. Chaetomium sp., Curvularia sp. campuran jamur Fusarium sp. dan Chaetomium sp., campuran jamur Fusarium sp dan Curvularia sp., campuran jamur Chaetomium sp. dan Curvularia sp., serta campuran jamur Fusarium sp., Chaetomium sp., dan Curvularia sp., dilakukan dalam 4 kali ulangan. Variabel yang diamati adalah daya kecambah, laju perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar, insidensi penyakit, masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, AUDPC (Area Under Disease Progress Curve), dan laju infeksi. Analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan uji F dan apabila terdapat perbedaan maka dilakukan uji lanjut DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jamur patogen tidak berpengaruh pada daya kecambah dan laju perkecambahan, dengan daya kecambah benih 95 – 100 % dan laju perkecambahan 1,70 – 2,25 hari. Perlakuan tidak menimbulkan penyakit dan tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman jagung.
Abstrak (Inggris)Weed pathogenic fungi have a potential to control weeds in maize plantation. However, it is necessary to know the biosafety of these biological herbicides on maize plants. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of pathogenic fungi on the germination and growth of maize plants. This research was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University and on land in Tambaksogra Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. This research was conducted using a completely randomized block design, 8 treatments such as single fungus Fusarium sp. Chaetomium sp., Curvularia sp. mixture of Fusarium sp. and Chaetomium sp., Fusarium sp. and Curvularia sp., mixture of Fungus Chaetomium sp. and Curvularia sp., and mixture of Fusarium sp., Chaetomium sp., and Curvularia sp., and 4 replicates. The variables observed were germination rate, germination rate, plant height, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, disease incidence, incubation period, disease intensity, AUDPC (Area Under Disease Progress Curve), and infection rate. The research analysis was carried out using the F test and if there was a difference, further DMRT test was carried out at the 5% level. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the germination and germination rate, seed germination at 95 – 100% and germination rate 1.70 – 2.25 days. The treatment did not cause disease and did not affect the growth of maize plants.
