Abstrak (Inggris)Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is a horticultural crop which is an alternative food in Indonesia. The use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers by potato farmers is very intensive, resulting in the deposition of the heavy metal cadmium in soil, water and plants. The existence of cadmium pollution which is difficult to degrade and harms the environment and living things, it is necessary to do bioremediation. This study aims to explore, identify and test the ability of fungal isolates from potato planting areas in Brebes Regency, as well as to test rice germination on used remediation media. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection Mycology, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. The research was conducted from January to October 2022. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely three mushroom isolates with cadmium concentrations (0, 25 and 50 ppm). The results showed that there were 13 isolates found and identified from the genera Trichoderma sp., Aspergillus sp., Fusarium sp., and Penicillium sp., and one isolate that had not been identified. The three best isolates based on the results of the cadmium tolerance test were isolates coded PP4 (Trichoderma sp.), WS4 (Fusarium sp.), and WS8 (Aspergillus sp.). Trichoderma sp. isolates capable of removing heavy metals in media with a Cd concentration of 25 ppm reaching 92% with a biomass capacity of 22.75 mg/g. The best biomass in the remediation ability test was isolate WS4 (Fusarium sp.) with a Cd content of 25 ppm, namely 0.69 g. The results of the rice seed germination test showed that all treatments were not significantly different in terms of wet weight, plant height, number of roots, root length, and germination.
