| Abstrak | Latar Belakang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1). Mengetahui besarnya keuntungan dan rentabilitas usaha ayam niaga pedaging pada kandang tipe closed house dan open house di Kabupaten Banyumas dan; 2). Mengkaji perbedaan keuntungan dan rentabilitas usaha ayam niaga pedaging pada kandang tipe closed house dengan open house di Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan menggunakan metode survei di wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas. Pengambilan sampel wilayah menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan disproportionate stratified random sampling dengan total sampel yang diambil sebanyak 59 peternak ayam niaga pedaging yang terbagi menjadi 28 peternak ayam niaga pedaging kandang tipe open house dan 31 peternak ayam niaga pedaging kandang tipe closed house. Biaya produksi dan keuntungan dianalisis secara financial, sedangkan perbedaan keuntungan dan rentabilitas dianalisis menggunakan uji âtâ. Hasil analisis menunjukan keuntungan rata-rata per 1.000 ekor dari kandang tipe closed house sebesar Rp 5.697.799 dan kandang tipe open house sebesar Rp 2.344.068, rentabilitas kandang tipe closed house 10,18% dan tipe kandang open house 8,30%. Hasil analisis komparatif kandang tipe closed house lebih menguntungan dibandingkan dengan kandang tipe open house, disarankan untuk peternak ayam niaga pedaging menggunakan kandang tipe closed house. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Background. The objectives of the study: 1). Knowing the amount of profit and rentability of the broiler commercial chicken business in closed house and open house type cages in Banyumas Regency; 2). Assessing the differences in the profit and rentability of broiler commercial chicken businesses in closed house cage types with open houses in Banyumas Regency. The sampling method was carried out using a survey method in the Banyumas Regency area. Sampling using disproportionate stratified random sampling with a total sample taken of 59 broiler commercial chicken farmers divided into 28 open house type cages broiler breeders and 31 closed house type cages broiler commercial chicken farmers. Production costs and profits were analyzed financially, while differences in profit and rentability were analyzed using the "t" test. The results of the analysis showed an average profit per 1,000 heads from closed house type cages of Rp. 5,697,799 and open house type cages of Rp. 2,344,068, rentability of closed house type cages of 10.18% and open house type cages of 8.30%. The results of comparative analysis of closed house type cages are more profitable than open house type cages, it is recommended for commercial broiler breeders to use closed house type cages. |
