Judul ArtikelKONVERSI PAKAN DAN INCOME OVER FEED COST AYAM BROILER PADA PENGGUNAAN BIOPEPTIDA EKSTRAK CEKER AYAM YANG DIHIDROLISIS DENGAN ENZIM PAPAIN
Abstrak (Inggris)This study aims to examine the effect of the use of chicken feet extract biopeptides hydrolyzed with papain enzyme on feed conversion ratio and income over feed cost and examine the most optimal level of use of chicken feet extract biopeptides when viewed from feed conversion ratio and income over feed cost. The research material used was Day Old Chick (DOC) broiler chickens as many as 200 heads with strain CP 707. The study was conducted using 4 repeat treatments with 9 experimental units and 20 replacement using the Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method. The treatment given is P0 = basal feed, P1 = basal feed + 2% bioactive peptides, P2 = basal feed + 4% bioactive peptides, and P3 = basal feed + 6% bioactive peptides. The identification results showed feed conversion ratio in P0, P1, P 2 and P3 treatments of2.35 respectively; 2,27 ; 2,28; and 2.01 and income over feed cost (IOFC) shows the consecutive average of P0, P 1, P2, and P3 which is 1,625.17; 1.885,57; 1.482.38; and 4,044.80. The results of the variety analysis showed that the treatment of adding chicken feet extract biopeptides had a very real effect on feed conversion ratio and income over fedd cost (P<0.01). The results of the real difference test showed that the treatment of P0, P1, and P2 showed very significant difference with the treatment of P3. Polynomial orthogonal test results show cubic line response. The optimum level of biopeptide administration in terms of feed conversion ratio and income over feed cost is 2.71-3.68%. The conclusion of the study was that the use of chicken feet extract biopeptides hydrolyzed with papain enzyme in feed was able to reduce feed conversion ratio value and increase income over feed cost.
