Judul ArtikelPOTENSI BIO P60 UNTUK MENEKAN PENYAKIT ANTRAKNOSA PADA CABAI MERAH (Capsicum annuum L.)
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan Bio P60 mengendalikan penyakit antraknosa dan mengetahui pengaruh Bio P60 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan di rumah kasa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Oktober 2012 sampai Januari 2013. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas 6 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba meliputi: kontrol, pemberian fungisida, perendaman benih dengan Bio P60 selama 30 menit dan penyemprotan Bio P60 1, 3, 5, dan 7 kali. Variabel yang diamati meliputi: masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, jumlah daun, jumlah buah, bobot tanaman, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, bobot buah, dan analisis kandungan fenol secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan Bio P60 belum mampu menekan intensitas penyakit antraknosa dan belum mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah.
Abstrak (Inggris)This research was aimed at determining the capability of Bio P60 in controling the disease and in influencing the growth and yield of red peppers. The experiment was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and in the screen house the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. The study was conducted from October 2012 to January 2013. The research was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisted of 6 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments tested include: control, provision of fungicides, seed submersion with Bio P60 for 30 minutes and Bio P60 spraying for 1, 3, 5, and 7 times. Variables observed were: incubation period, the intensity of the disease, plants’ height, root’s length, number of leaves, number of fruits, plants’ weight, fresh root weight, dry root weight, fruit’s weight, and network analyses qualitatively. The results showed that the treatment of Bio P60 had not been able to suppress the intensity of anthracnose disease and to increase the growth and yield of red pepper.
