AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas pemetaan geologi permukaan dan studi fasies batugamping pada daerah penelitian dengan metode survei dan analisis laboratorium. Secara administratif daerah penelitian merupakan wilayah Kecamatan Kalipucang, Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat dengan koordinat 248000 mE-254150 mE dan 9158600 mN- 9150900 mN UTM WGS 84 zona 49 dengan luas 29,240 km2. Daerah penelitian terbagi menjadi empat satuan geomorfologi yaitu perbukitan zona sesar Cibuluh, perbukitan pepino Kalipucang, bukit homoklin Pasirpogoh dan dataran aluvial Citanduy dengan stadia muda menuju dewasa hingga tua. Daerah penelitian terbagi menjadi tiga satuan stratigrafi dari tua ke muda yaitu satuan breksi-batupasir, satuan batugamping, satuan batupasir, dengan endapan aluvial. Struktur geologi yang berkembang berkaitan dengan tektonik Miosen Tengah dan Plio-Plistosen, berupa lipatan Cibuluh-Pamotan yang tercacah oleh sesar-sesar mendatar. Batugamping daerah penelitian terdiri atas tiga fasies, yaitu fasies packestone-wackestone, fasies framestone-bafflestone, fasies rudstone-packestone yang terendapkan pada fasies lingkungan secara berurutan yaitu backreef /shelf lagoon open circulation, reef front/organic build up, dan fore reef /fore slope. Gejala diagenesis yang teramati meliputi mikritisasi mikrobial, pelarutan, sementasi, dan neomorfisme, mengindikasikan lingkungan diagenesis pada zona marine phreatic, meteoric phreatic dan meteoric vadose.
Abstrak (Inggris)This research focussed on surface geological mapping and limestone facies study in the research area, using survey and laboratory analysis methods. The research area located in Kalipucang Area, Ciamis, West Java with 248000 mE-254150 mE and 9158600 mN- 9150900 mN UTM coordinates, with 29,240 km2 coverage area. That area consists four geomorphological unit, those are Cibuluh faults zone hills, Kalipucang pepino hills, Pasirpogoh homoklin hill and Citanduy alluvial plain with young to mature-old geomophological stadium. Research area comprise of three stratigraphic unit from the oldest to youngest strata, those are breccia-sandstone unit, limestone unit, sandstone unit, and alluvial deposit. Geological structures is correlate to Middle Miocene and Plio-Plistocene tectonics activity in form of Cibuluh-Pamotan folds those was cut by several strike slip faults. The Limestone consist of three facies, those are packstone-wackestone facies, framestone-bafflestone facies, and rudstone-packestone facies that each facies was deposited in the facies environments, those are backreef /shelf lagoon open circulation, reef front/organic build up, and fore reef /fore slope. Diagenetic processes which are identified including microbial micritization, dissolution, cementation, and neomorphism. Those processes indicated marine phreatic zone, meteoric phreatic zone and meteoric vadose zone as diagenetic environments of limestone.
