| Abstrak | Rumput laut (seaweed) merupakan salah satu komoditi yang potensial. Salah satu rumput laut yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi adalah Eucheuma cottonii yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan baku industri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan produksi Eucheuma cottonii yang ditanam menggunakan sistem bertingkat di perairan Pandansari, Brebes. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan Split Plot sistem penanaman sebagai main plot yang terdiri dari sistem tali tunggal, jaring tabung dan jaring tubuler, sebagai subplotnya adalah kedalaman dengan tingkat level kedalaman 30-40 cm, 60-70 cm dan 90-100 cm. Bobot yang digunakan adalah 100 g dengan tiga kali ulangan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dan 99% untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor yang dicobakan dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar perlakuan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem penanaman budidaya jaring tabung dengan tingkat kedalaman 30-40 cm menghasilkan pertumbuhan Eucheuma cottonii tertinggi yaitu sebesar 7, 833 g dan produksi basah tertinggi yaitu sebesar 3813,75 g/m2. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Seaweed is one of commodity potential and can a mainstay to efforts enterprise development small-scale and medium. Any seaweed economically valuable high is Eucheuma cottonii. The purpose of this research is to know the growth and production of Eucheuma cottonii planted using a multilevel system in waters Pandansari, Brebes. This research uses experimental methods, the draft used the Random Design Group (RAK) and a pattern of main plot is planting system modification-floor, single rope system, tubular mesh system and net tubes. Subplot is depth levels level depth of 30-40 cm, 60-70 cm and 90-100 cm. Weight is 100 g by three replication. Data were analyzed using observation results of test level F credentials 95% and 99% to know the influence factors for customers. If the results differ markedly, continued with the smallest Real Difference Test (BNT) to tell the difference between the treatments. The results show that observations on the use of planting system and different depth levels produce different Eucheuma cottonii growth at the age of 10, 20, hst hst hst hst 30 and 40 as well as different production. Treatment using the system net tube with a depth of 30-40 cm diameter produces the highest growth of Eucheuma cottonii 7, 833 g and the highest production of wet 3813,75 g/m2 |
